This is the Darwin bar in the Staincliffe Hotel, Hartlepool, named after the infamous John Darwin 'canoe man'. This project involved sanding back the solid oak flooring to reveal the beauty of this rustic solid oak flooring. It was lacquered with 3 coats of 2pk water based floor lacquer to restore the natural charm.
